Thanks for the less common view of sunrise over Mt Fuji. Too bad about the haze down below, but that's virtually unavoidable. (I was lucky the day I climbed Mt Fuji this year - crystal clear weather. But it was a different Mt Fuji, a third as high ;-})

To Verti: Other fuji?
Is that Tsugaru? Ive always wanted to go there!
Japan must be the most beutiful cpintry on earth. ITs great seeing all the wonderful sights of Tochigi in your photographs. I especially like the fisherman in Nikko. Its nice to see the overpowering serenity that rural Japan has to offer showcased.

There may be one in Tsugaru, but I was looking at a map of Tochigi and found one here, so decided to climb during the summer vacation. I've got some photos of it at http://photobucket.com/albums/v391/Pug-h/

Nice pictures What a pretty valley! makes me home sick. THe landscape is exciting, mysterious and peacefull all at once. I cant wait to climb it!
