Thanks for your workshop Kelley. I must admit that I have not really got into photoshop side of digital photography yet. I like what you have done, it adds more drama to the scene. In my defence I was too busy trying to get a bird in focus to worry too much about the framing of the shot!! :)

Cropping and brightenning is what got me into photoshop in the first place. You can do wonders to a photo just using the simplist of tools.
Even if all you have is Microsoft Picture Manager or even a free program called PhotoFilter, you can change the dynamics. It's worth it when it's only a tiny thing to fix to make all the difference.
