Great snuggleaphagus 2007-10-01 20:46

Not only is the fountain Picasso but your photo as whole has fantastic Picasso-ish feeling to it. The point of view is so cool. I'm not sure how you achieved this roundness to it but I like it. The buildings look great and the lights from the windows , puts my mind into gear and I want to make up stories about those lonely people slaving away in the evening.
Very very cool photo

Default To snuggleaphagus: Chicago Picasso

Hahahaha! Thank you so much. I really it when you said - "I want to make up stories about those lonely people slaving away in the evening" ... on a Saturday evening to boot! Yup, the stories we could make up!!! BTW, the effect is due to the lens - I used a fish eye lens and laid down the pavement to get a sweeping effect.

What a great visual, a photographer laying on the pavement on a saturday night, dedication at its best.
3 weeks ago I was trying to get a photo of a giant sequoia and was laying down so intently on capturing it's majesty, and then I saw 2 oothers taking photo's of me.
I've been thinking of getting a fish eye.
