Great Royaldevon 2021-06-13 5:03

Hello Gert,

This is an interesting note which explains much about your neat, compact photograph.
It's surprising how many curves are used in this scene! The cobbles are the first curved features, then the people are arranged in a curve, the balloons are curved, the student sign is curved and there are curves and curls above the door!
I like how you have drawn the interest inwards from the compact arrangement of the figures, best caught in this vertical format.
Your w/s was well worth posting, with the building suddenly crossed on a diagonal by shadows.
It seems there were blue and yellow balloons across the street, being reflected, or were they inside the window?

Have a good day,
Bev :-)

Default To Royaldevon: inside

Thank you Bev for your careful and detailed comments. I am almost certain the other balloons were inside the window, most likely indicating that the school is on that floor. It would have been too much of a coincidence if similar balloons had been used across the street.
Have a nice Sunday,
Gert
