Great foxy 2020-09-17 8:20

Hello Gert,
Wow...you took us back in time, almost 43 years ago.
The only thing I knew then ( in Malaysia ), leaf( banana ) was widely used in restaurant and wedding ceremony. Of course eating with hands ( right ). Did you eat with your hands?
This B&W pictures, making this small 'restaurant' very dirty and unhygienic but I'm sure they were tasted deliciously. Not the yoghurt dish but the 'puri' ( I recognized ) seeing this 'puri' being fried making me very hungry already. The Indian, they do served very rich flavorsome curry sauces.
Very interesting to see but I need some time to take it in.
Thanks for sharing this eccentric b&w shots.
Loong

Default To foxy: hands

Thank you Loong,
Yes, of course I have eaten with my hands, at least on my earlier journeys to India, and especially in the southern states. When I was young I usually had my meals at cheap places, where rice and vegetables were served on banana leaves and no cutlery was available. Later, as I had more money, I could go to better places and enjoy the privileges of a plate and a spoon.
Best wishes,
Gert
