Great kooreman 2004-06-06 5:16

Bruce, I like the atmosphere on this one. Well captured with the lighting behind the pillars. Minor suggestions could be to crop the highlight on the left and rubber stamp the people away.
These are only mini minor suggestions to this very beautiful shot.

Default To Estaban: height of the Majella picture

Thanks a lot for your comments !
I took this picture from the Majeletta summit (City of Passo Lanciano), which is located at almost 1800m (if I remember well...). The main summits you see on the pictures are the Cima delle Murelle (2400m) and Monte Acquaviva (2690m).
The spectacular particularity of this mountain is to be situated very close to the Adriatic sea (several tenth of km), and when the weather is clear, in the last days of may, you can see the coast (where people are swiming), while you are climbing to the snowy slopes... Amazing feeling !

Thank you for your suggestion ! I'll take it into account for further postings... Just a little precision: you won't see anyone swimming in the sea, while climbing on the Majella mountain because it's too far (~30km) ! But you'll have a magnificient view on this Adriatic sea (where people are swimming during the second half of may)! Effectively, it's a real strange feeling...
Cheers !
