In order to lean mre about this place you should read the note on my other shot, lowest place on earth .
After a long discussion with my friend, I got to the conclusion that this pipe delivers fresh water from some source on the beach, and it creates a less salty area at that place. This area of lower salt concentration enables this plant to grow whre nothing else can survive.
I was standing on the shore, a few meters above the water level (elevation - minus 396m, the lowest place on earth).
