Ciao Cristina. i know the feelings you describe as I too had come back to Melbourne after being away and came back to the same if not more pronounced issues of our place in our region, our economic situation, the upcoming elections and many disturbing flies in the ointment. By the way, it is a pleasure to see your evocative (and here melancholy) work and to read your wonderful notes. All my best wishes cara. Klaudio.

ciao Klaudio,
I am glad you like the melancholic side of this image, as this is exactly what I was feeling that day. I am glad to see friends and family but at the same time I feel a deep sense of uneasiness these days, I look around and see a degrade in things and people and ideas and that hurts. Maybe that's the reason I try to freeze the moment - instead of escaping into hedonism, I escape into lights and shadows  thanks for your warm words, always a balm c.
