Great ngythanh 2005-09-28 17:23

Hello Pancho:

Very cute kids in a wonderful capture.
The colors that you stated "no-postprocessing" surprised me.
I am looking toward more photos of China from your camera.
(Did you come to Yuanyang and photograph the Hani's terraced fields?)

Best Regards,

Thanh

Default To ngythanh: About colors

Hello Thanh

The pic was shot in jpeg with this camera settings:

ExposureBiasValue : EV0,0
LightSource : Cloudy
ExposureMode : Auto
WhiteBalance : Manual
GainControl : None
Contrast : Soft
Saturation : Normal
Sharpness : Soft
Flash : Not fired

and edited with Picasa to aply sharpen and resize. If i open it whith nikon capture the colours are a little bit crispy.

In this shot there was no time to make manual settings.
Sometimes the cameras works like we expect! :D

Usually i shot in raw mode where it will be more difficult to say if a image is untouched.

And no, unfortunatelly Yuanyang it was no possible.

... and thank you for your interest.

Regards

Pancho
