Great pablominto 2006-04-16 9:48

Hello Dario,
Interesting architecture of the church... Reminds me of the Spanish influence on church building in the Philippines from the same period! They also have a separate belltower and a horrible array of cables...
Well composed image with good details, and by the way... well done on the post processing!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Default To pablominto: Romanic architecture

You're right on the Romanic architectural influence that helped build many buildings (not only churches) in early days in America. Altough by the XVI century Ghotic architects begun building new churches, in the Colonies (America and the Phillipines) the Romanic influence lasted more.

Santa Barbara is a nice example of Romanic architecture.

Thanks for your comments!
