hi mark nice colourful shot looking down the harbour i see what you mean about the seagul blending in it took me quite a time to see it the work on the right hand side of the picture is whitby`s new £1million lifeboat station

how did you manage to get your other picture (henrietta street )so quite it must have been early morning as you say the rest of the town was manic

To nels: Hi Adrian
Thanks for the comments, haven't been around much lately. The photo of the street was taken mid afternoon, the rest of Whitby was very busy, lots of Goths were there, more than normal, maybe there was an event on. Even lots of people at the end of the street just around the bend going up the 199 steps. I just waited until the people in front of us disappeared from the street and took the photo quickly before anyone else re-appeared. :-)
