Great nwoehnl 2004-08-06 16:05

Rinie, you're really good - I think it's an outstanding result for an early attempt at panning. Great to see the guy in the foreground pretty sharp, and the one in the back plus the rest of the background quite blurred. Definitely a cool feeling of movement in this one, well done.

Default To nwoehnl: early attempt

Hi Norbert, thanks for your comments, and your compliment, but out of at least 250 pics (camera was on continue mode), there are maybe 6 or 7 reasonable, so I will really have to continue practising. But it's a real funny technique. Dod you ever try? It did not work with my G%, the smallest aperture was f8, that's too big, so this was my plan for the D70.

Hi Rinie - didn't try it yet, but I've seen so many good results on TE that I can't wait to, and now with the D70 I should have all the flexibility I need in terms of settings :)

Looking forward to seeing more of those from you, too.

Have a great weekend -
