Good twjthornton 2006-10-30 8:07

wow, my old stomping ground -scouser originally.

Forests are tough. While i like this compositionally, it does nothing for me technically.
I find that the way to go is use a tripod and just soak a lot of texture in.
There is nothing wrong here, just perhaps it needs something too make it pop harder.
looks like a typically non sunny northern day

Default To twjthornton: Tripod

Thanks twj,
I get your drift its just that I don't tend to carry one with me walking the dog. She is a 1 year old Cocker Spaniel and I spend most of my time fending her off my camera strap while she drags the lead resulting in blurred images!
Seriously though thanks for the advice. I have a Manfrotto so will dust it off.
Regards
Mark
