Great wgreis 2010-09-03 6:58

The photo has a nostalgic feel and a texture that pleases. The sensation of movement is present and looks great.
I made a WAS, I hope you enjoy.
Congratulations and hug.
Wagner.

Default To wgreis: your workshop

Hi Wagner,

thanks for the workshop you performed on "el dia que me quieras" - I really, really like "sephira" and I didn't expect to. I tend to convert almost all my tango shots to B&W at least for a quick look - it is a form of dance which lends itself to monochrome treatment. I think I was so captured by the red of the woman's dress that I missed what you found: the monochrome and tint really emphasise the area round the head, arms and shoulders of the couple which is possibly the strongest part of he photograph. With the shift of emphasis from colour to monochrome we have produced two very different photos, but I think they are both very strong.

Thanks again, it is really nice to have someone looking at things with a different eye.

Abrazos, Iain
