Larry,
This "castle" is just a few miles from my home and I have never photographed it! Your composition is fine using the trees in the foreground to create a border for the shot. The lighting could be better but you did the best with what was available. The angle of the shot works well adding depth to the scene.

Default To asajernigan: Castle Ottis

It was not an ideal lighting (virtually overcast) and we just came across Castle Ottis while driving north along the coast. In PS, I tried to restore as much of the color in the whole image as possible.

Thanks for the comments. Hope you have a chance to shoot this subject
