Great EstudioChispa 2013-06-28 12:54

Excellent use of the reflection to add another story to the buildings. The window frames suggest shelves in a store, and the interior lighting balances well with the reflections. I am sure that when you travel, you stay busy and on the move, but so many of your fotos look like you spent hours waiting for the light to be just right; it is most impressive!

In 1994, I stayed in a hostel in Hamburg near the St. Pauli brewery. It was a wonderful time! As a boy from land-locked Kansas, a working waterway fascinated me!

By the way... thank you for teaching me that HTML; as you may see, I am using it A LOT!

Have a great weekend!

Talking To EstudioChispa: St. Pauli

C'mon Russ,
Is it the lighthouse and the dockyard that you photographed when you stayed in Reeperbahn? Show us more, show us the "nite"...

Btw, both of my travels to Hamburg were for visiting TE friends. I "only" travelled twice to Dusseldorf, twice to Shanghai, twice to Brussels, once to Atlanta, once to Glasgow and once to Seoul for business purposes

But i usually tried to turn them into "long weekend"s, therefore easily found time to spend hours for "tourism" and photography.

ps: hurray for HTML

Aaaah... you HAVE been to the Reeperbahn! I was a single man when I visited, between marriages. It was quite enjoyable! But sadly, there are no pictures of that "nite."
