Photographer's Note
Another typical African landscape, taken during my recent visit to the Khutse Game Reserve in Botswana.
This is the view overlooking the Moreshwe Pan in the Western part of the reserve.

Nice framing, but in my opinion it's a bit dark... Therefore, I did a workshop for you, hope you'll like it... anyway this is nice shot.

I think that you can't escape from your birds, Henry, there's a black one on the far tree, did you see it?
This is a classic Africa shot, a NG one. I like this endless dry pan with only a few small trees, gray earth. I like the slight darkness. It's a simple landscape shot, but so much mood inside. I like it very much, Henry.

Very African atmosphere – and the bird is a nice detail to find (I wonder what bird it is?).
Still, I agree with cool s15 – the image is a bit too dark. I like his WS.
I like this shot but I think something missing...

Another grand African landscape, Henry. Those just look good at any time of day. Very nice view, I like how you used the two trees in the foreground to frame the distant ones behind. And those clouds are really magnificent.

The foreground is a bit dark but your simple composition lightens up the whole picture. The sky is beautiful so I guess the contrast between heaven and earth is best expressed here. Good shot!

Very nice picture, but in my opinion it's a bit dark... indeed the WS of cool s15 is better. Wonderful view.

A great African landscape, Henry. Nicely framed with the two trees right in the foreground. While the Moreshwe Pan looks interesting, I think it is the sky that makes the shot - with its beautiful shades of blue. Well done.

I like the soft colors and the placing of the trees on the left. The view is great as the whole horizon is obvious

Now this is Africa!! Fantastic composition Henry. I like the clean crisp lines and depth of the horizon, but agree that the pic is a bit dark.

Another nice photo Henry. You must have a very big memory card on your D-100, because you brought bakc so many great photographs from your trip. Lucky for us. I think that the proportions here are nicely done. Just the right amount of land and sky. I also like the composition with the trees.

A very painterly sky, with the trees almost in silhouette. Composition is so nice; your use of negative space works well here.
