Photographer's Note

I shot this photo in the Egyptian Equestrian championship in sharm El Sheikh which my company coverage it in the Tv and my work there is designing the advertising for the championship and the ads around the track .. this horses is about 500 kg and too big and strong and it is just only for jumping and the stands is about 150 cm high. i have some fine shots from this championship ... This is my first try to convert my Camera to manual and fix the shutter speed

The focus seem a litle bit soft Ayman but otherwise i think you caught a nice picture here. The pose of the horse is very clasical. I like the composition a lot. I did a WS for you. Hope you like it.

The high exposure speed freeze the picture, it's great. Good colors and details.

You really clicked at the perfect fraction of a second, Ayman - the pose of horse and rider is a classical one. Nice colorful background and neat details. Focus is a little soft and the sky is surprisingly white, but as a snapshot of the action this one is a full success. Well done.

I know how hard it is photographing a jumping horse!! I tried several times myself.
I like this picture, you can really see how the horse is lifting in to the air. Well done!

Nice shot!
Maybe it needs some sharpness but it is great. I like the way the horse back legs stretch and how you captured it.

Very nice composition. The body position of the horse is perfect and the horsman very dinamic. There's only some problems about the definition which needs some more sharpness and the overexposure of the sky (wich enhances the great colors anyway).

Could work well in BW also.
