Day VI

It was already the end of the day. The group was having the tea break, before everyone go looking for the "sleeping place". Someone told me to look to the guide. I didn't see that !!

I don't know what they were looking at. I suppose another invisible path !!

Superb picture, Stephane
I've never been to a desert like this but the colours of sand and sky are amazing and the sinuous ridges of the sand dunes are fascinating. The two figures are a really nice focal point too.

Classic composition here, with the characters to the left and elevated. The colour is good, and the exposure well balanced. The light works well too. There is no doubt that the figures add greatly to the composition to give impact. Thanks for sharing this.

Et j'aime particuli鋨ement les teintes et la composition de celle-ci. Ces deux personnages avec le bras tendu vers la droite aident beaucoup � l'廦uilibre et � la lecture de cette image. Une vraie r徼ssite ! bravo !

Les 2 guides sont tr鋊 bien plac廥 au sommet de la dune, ils se d彋achent bien sur le fond du ciel.
Lecture de l'image tr鋊 ais嶪, du bras du guide, et le regard se dirige sur les dunes du fond...

Oh I love it Stephane! Not only does the edge of the undulating dune carry our eye across the frame but the figures are also pointing the way for us to look. Excellent composition; it looks almost biblical.

Derni鋨es sentinelles dans le d廥ert des tartares (fiction)...
Tes derni鋨es images de D廥ert sont 廧oustouflantes de simplicit� et de qualit�.
Tu joues vraiment juste et ici encore plus avec peu de choses mais surtout des volumes bien mis.
Les bras wse tendent vers la lignes de cr鋈e des dunes dans le lointain, c'est un bon moment..

If I didn't know you better, I would have bet you paid these gentlemen to pose up there! The rounded patch on the dune beneath the two men appears to be colouration and not shadow, as the shadow of the one man is seen darker to the left. The POV here is superb, with an angled view of the undulating dunes. The sky is surreal. A very moving shot, Stephane. First rate work.

What impressed me most was the way the two men were pointing into the wilderness. This simple act is powerful for this scene and emphasized well the title you select. I also love how the different orange tones on top of the dunes suggest depth. Brilliant shot!!! Have a nice weekend.

One of the best desert shots I have seen in recent times. Brilliant colours. The ridges of the sand dunes are such that it seems God above is casting a sinister shadow. Beautiful composition made perfect by those two characters standing atop the dune.

Tiens c'est superbe justement que je tombe sur ta gallerie, car tu as fais la lybie, j'en discutai avec cobraphil et je lui disais que je voulais trop aller en lybie voir le d廥ert et lui me conseillait celui d'alg廨ie ... dans les cas c'est � voir, et dans le cas pr廥ent, 蓷 donne un clich� exceptionnel, mais 蓷 tu le sais d嶴� ....
