Hello Patrick.
A very evocative b/w shot, nicely composed to place the vanishing point to the right of centre, balancing the small boy. I like the light, and the shapes of the strange baobab trees, but especially the ripples in the monsoon puddle around the boy. A very good conversion to b/w, just the right tonality and contrast.
And now I can see a cyclist in the picture, also!

Ces arbres-l� sont uniques, merveilleux!
Cette photo m'a plu beaucoup!
J'adore surtout le noir & blanc, le pdv choisi, la gestion de la lumi鋨e et la compo!
La pr廥ence de l'enfant a 彋� une id嶪 excellente!
On voudrait voir un petit peu plus de ces reflets en bas et peut-皻re les arbres qui sont plus proches enti鋨ement!

Amazing road, i do not see it made of concrete but still a landmark placed. boy playing in the water and those amazing huge trunk trees, there's so much in your shot. Very well done.

Un cadrage percutant, tr鋊 efficace, avec l'enfant id嶧lement bien plc� dans la mare qui semble tout petit, et un peu perdu, dans ce paysage d廥ol�. Le point d'eau isol� entour� de terres s鋃hes laisse r瞚eur. La perspective ouverte par l'all嶪 de baobabs trouve ici une superbe entr嶪 en mati鋨e. Le choix du noir et blanc en renforce encore l'impact dramatique.
