Photographer's Note

Marrakech street scene

Heres a simple and ordinary street scene in the Medina. Taken in between passing motor bikes and occasional horse carts, in a busy time when people are returning home before dinner. Somewhat amazingly, people were relatively tolerant of my intrusive camera, perhaps because this was away from the touristy hot spots. I stayed at this corner for a little while, chatting with a few sellers and passers-by.

Photographing a scene with many people may be frustrating. Theres often someone not at the right place, unpleasantly partly masked by someone or something, looking in the wrong direction, etc. For this one, I was rather pleased with this aspect of things. But if I could correct something, the boy at right would not be that blurred.
