At the enf of the afternoon on the lovely Beau Vallon beach on the Mah� island. A beautiful beach, coconut trees and a pleasant blue horizon ... and soon the famous sunset on the sea.

Une belle carte postale avec des enfant pour mettre un peu d'animation color嶪. J'aime comment le palmier penche comme pour vouloir les prot嶲er du soleil.

Hello Jean,
This looks like it is very close to Paradise. Maybe life isn't always perfect for the local people, but it looks good enough here. You made a very good composition, with the palm leaning very nicely over the diagonal beach and the quiet sea. The children, and the few persons further away, add a pleasant atmosphere to the natural beauty. It's also a very well exposed photo with perfect colours.

Alors qu'ici il neige depuis hier, 蓷 fait du bien au moral d'admirer cette plage ensoleill嶪 ! Le palmier est id嶧lement plac� au premier plan, je remarque qu'en fin de journ嶪, les ombres s'彋irent... Le coucher de soleil ne devrait pas tarder, en effet !

Another vision of paradise! Could be mistaken for North Queensland in Australia or even southern Thailand or the Philippines! Good warm cold colour contrasts between the yellow green fronds of the coconut palm and the blue sea and sky. Bon weekend!

Peeking over to the thumbnail for your next entry, I was prepared to write "and the wait was worth it." But seeing this in full size changed my mind, I am sure every moment of that wait was worth it just for that moment's experience. That palm tree caressing the swimmers and the sunbathers is where it needs to be, an excellent composition!

spectacular picture from the paradise. I had a pleasure to take similar photos on Maui but they were in the pre-digital times and they are not the best quality now.
The bending palm tree is a very photogenic theme, and you have explored it perfectly here.
I like the blue water of the ocean well reflecting the sky. Group of children and some person further behind add some life here but the beach does not seem very crowded which is a great bonus.

Hi Jean,

You're capturing well this beach by a good angle and very excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see an open resort with crystal sea and powder sands. It's tasteful for the curved line of seashore, and effective for boats on sea and some kids on sands. And, the coconut trees in FG draws out good impact in the whole. Very good photograph!
