Photographer's Note

This is a picture of the eclipse of the moon that occurred last month. I had to overexpose this photo in order to get the detail of the darker half. The two stars below the moon are:

Alpha2 Librae (brightest) which is 77 Light-years away from the earth and about 1.8 time the brightness of the sun;

and

Alpha1 Librae which also 77 Light-years away from the earth but with a brightness of about 0.19 times that of the sun
