Photographer's Note
Taken with my old Sony Cybershot on a trip through the Valley of a Thousand Hills, just inland from Durban. I was up nice and close to this beauty and was so captivated with taking this shot that I barely noticed the croc sneaking up to the right of me. Anyway, got the shot, all limbs accounted for ;-)

wow, extremely terrifying! Very good clearness and curiously very symmetrical. I hope that you used a great focal distance to photograph this specimen! Ooh, I just read your note...Brrrrr. :-)

Good symmetry in taking this croc portrait. , dont have an idea of the scale of this croc but seems to be a large one based on its rouch scale features. I just suggest a few cropping from left to center image. Scary catch! Good job.

A very nice crisp shot... excellent detail of his skin and teeth (the patterns in his skin are so well defined). And those eyes..he definately knew you were there...looks like he had you lined up for lunch!

Goodness. Rather you than me! Just as well you managed to "snap" first. Justin time eh? Apart from it being a good shot, you can have your two points for being so brave and retreating unscathed.....eek!
