Photographer's Note
The southern slopes of Cathedral Peak in the Qolwane Spruit valley has these phenomenol green ridges throughout most of the year. The contour path can clearly be seen crossing the image aprox. halfway. It might have been a more powerful image with a hiker on a third right with a bright red jacket! and the contour path placed on a third, but I somehow like it as it is - the serenity which it inspires. This is one of those images that would have worked with any camera, its just a matter of being there.
Tech: image scanned from negative at 2400dpi and cleaned by means of cloning tool. No sharpening or any other adjustements.

Hi there,
What a fantastic image. The lush colours and portrait composition work extremely well.
I also love the way that the top half looks like a mountainous outcrop, while the bottom half could almost be the landscape from a model train set.
Really, really nice shot!

Hi Wilmotz,
This is my favourite as it shows the unique South African veld colours in different ridges, shades, shapes and textures.
