Hello Wanda, the guy looks really proud and I am sure he wanted to pose for you. Funny art gallery on wheels. Well seen. I once saw a bike in jersey but it is even more weird.

You've come across a a delightful scene with this lovely decorated bicycle and its great festive accessories. Not really the kind of machine to win the Tour de France, but the bike is fascinating in itself, and its owner is joyful enough to bring a smile on everyone's face. Very well spotted, and beautifully taken and presented.

An incredible bicycle, which makes m think of some trucks and buses in India and Pakistan. I see there is still room for himself, but what if he has to pick up a packet from the post-office? I am sure some museum of "weird art" would love this as a donation. You and Andr� both make watching TE more enjoyable with your superb photos of daily life in South Africa and elsewhere. You capture a lot of simple but amazing people and environments that many others would overlook.

this is a wonderful portrait, I like very much the pride the gentleman takes in his bike and the sincerity and friendliness with which he poses. He must have had great fun decorating it and supplying it with items that might prove useful on his trips. This photo makes me think of my bike as plain and uninteresting:) You have included a meaningful background, captured lovely details, light and colours. The best thing is his smile. A willing subject with a winning smile and unique bike. Another perfect capture which is unusual and visually appealing at once. Perhaps all those artefacts do not make the bike too heavy for riding :)?

Real cool shot!! a multi purpose bike, the talented friendly owner and what a contrast of colour there. What ever it is you are almost compelled to watch, I love the attention to detail, the light, tone and the peaceful surroundings without distraction.
