There is almost no colour in this photo. The dark left side emphasizes the bright view in the womans eys.
The subtile horzontal lines on the left are in a good balance with the vertical structure on the far right.
Excellent work!!

Avec une bonne image qui sort un peu de l'ordinaire
Close up portrait avec mise au point sur un seul oeil, presque de la macro avec un DOF aussi faible
Quel piqu� sur le tissu et une image qui peut en dire long m瘱e si on en voit peu

Bonjour Bertrand,

Un tres beau 'portrait' bien port� par ta note.
Un joli traitement en faible profondeur de champs, un traitement du contraste dense mais lisible et un rappel de couleurs entre le cuivre de la peau et l arriere plan.
Une vue sur les mysteres de l Afrique bien complexe.

I sometimes wonder if those headscarfs weree invented just because some women have such increadible eyes and wanted to emphasise them even more... and even though she does not look right into the camera, we feel the strength of the piercing gaze, and probably are lucky she does NOT look at us, she must be able to see everything we try to hide. great shot, my compliments.

Superbes details et regard complice pour se faire prendre en photo. Magnifique portrait, j'aurais personnellement plus ferme l'obturateur pour avoir le detail des deux yeux, et juste avoir l'arriere plan flou.... Ca n'enleve en rien la qualite de la photo et du regard,

superbe portrait! Quel regard! Le cadrage est tip top et l'expo aussi. Un petit regret toutefois mais qui reste mineur face � un aussi beau portrait: je crois que j'aurais pr嶨廨� avoir les deux yeux nets. Impossibilit� technique ou choix? Bref, peu importe, je reste admiratif!

I have always been drawn to photographs of eyes. Your tight cropping and placement of subject takes the viewer deep into the soul of this woman.

I find these picture formidable nice, we get alone the eyes of the woman, with a very well western style, lovely eyes!
I don't now of these woman are very happy, but indeed this is an other culture.
Sharpness and clarity are extraordinarily.

Stunning eye contact - the tight crop and shallow DOF are excellent. Lucky with the background the hues of her eye make-up come back.

Un portrait intimiste que la lumi鋨e bien g廨嶪 permet de rendre dans les moindres d彋ails.

Peut-皻re est-ce parce qu'il s'agit d'un sujet d'actualit� ou que l'aura de myst鋨e qui les entoure est magn彋ique, mais j'aimerais bien un jour photographier une de ses femmes voil嶪s.

En attendant, j'appr嶰ie cette photo de qualit� que je consid鋨e remarquable.
