Photographer's Note
The Taj Mahal is a white Marble mausoleum built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his third wife, Mumtaz Mahal
As a symbol of absolute love, it is now the best prefered turistic place for honeymooners

Hi Patrick
Always a pleasant surprise to see new POV's of Iconic structures.
and its always difficult to expose these dramatically high contrast lighting situations.
a beautiful view for sure.
actually, my favorite part is the lighting on the floor in the fg.
great shot my friend.
cheers

Hi Patrick
There is lot to see in this single photo. The charismatic Taj Mahal framed well in natural frame, the two girls running there, as well as these two man i hope may be resting there. All these reflect the happening of that place. Great POV. nice shot.

Lovely framing and the children add the required sense of height to this majestic monument also the leading lines in the foreground leads the eye to it.

I couldn't agree more with Craig's comments: The skill lies in the ability to present known-places in different, original ways. That's the case here.
Secondly, the pose of the children running hand in hand is interesting, and the lateral light's bathing the bodies of the sitting monks (?) is excellent.
The details of the floor are exceptional.
My only nit-picking would be the tilted image -and maybe, not sure- the crop at the top, which is kind of intriguing because it creates a tension attracting our attention to the dome.
TFS.

Erdem

Hello Patrick,
It's a tough mission to try to get something new out of this place but you made a decent attempt. By putting the mausoleum so much in the background and giving such prominence to the dark entrance building you make us see this well known view partly in a different light. The children playing by the doors are certinly the stars of the composition and the two persons sitting in the dark to the right arouse some interest. Maybe some more details of them could have been brought out.
Kind regards,
Gert

ciao Patrick,

Complimenti

Hi Patrick,
The classical view, but with a difference! By including the children, this turns out to be a happy image, the men on the floor seem to be just ignoring the Taj!

Hello my dear Patrick
Wonderful view as usual, marvelous!
Best setting framework, that is a good idea. So deep and clear focusing should be highly appreciated. Nice vivid contrast you captured.
Thanks for your sharing with your good job and have a good day, best regards,

Hi Patrick, The view of Taj Mahal is always romantic. not so many people there this time. Usually it is very crowded. Good place for honeymooners indeed, I would prefer Venice or Paris though. This love had tragic ending.

Bonjour Patrick,

An inventive pov using the fg arch to frame the iconic bg Taj Mahal. Good sharpness, colour & lighting. Excellent fg shadow detail, & nice partial silhouettes of the children. The people animate the scene & provide scale. Bon weekend!

Hi Patrick
There are lots of happenings taking place in this shot, contrast of activity between the shadow area and out there in bright day light. Your exposure is so sublime in both but the two relaxing chaps is my fav as they balance the frame so well. Enjoy the depth achieved here while viewer is being presented with the famous icon in the backdrop. This is a very well thought out and well timely shot. Simply superb capture. Congrats, TFS
Warm regards

Hi Patrick!
A very nice shot with these people in foreground. I specially like the children running and the men sitting inside, with the Taj in background, in the sun. It was probably very hot outside:)!
Hope to return by the end of summer:)!

Bonjour Patrick!
Excellent exposition! Loving every detail of the architecture in the FG as well on the BG. Very nice presentation as well, an unusual one. The men on the FG is an interesting element, shows us a very nice typical every day life scene in that area. In my humble opinion, the image would be perfect if the arc wasn't cropped, but I don't know what circumstances led you to achieve this kind of result, definitely interesting and beautiful regardless! TFS!

Dear Patrick,
Making something special of such a much photographed place, one need skill and good ideas, you did a fine job
showing that there is"'normal life"'around the Taj as well:=]].
The light circumstances here are pretty difficult because of the bright backlight and the dark corridor where you are standing, the children running in are a great bonus!
Thanks

Bonsoir Partrick
Bravo

A signature of India captured brilliantly.Back light adds nice drama in it.
Dynamic is the key in it.
