Photographer's Note
Hampi is a fantastic place, so beautiful! Huge rocks, temples, holy tanks for water, and anceint Gods are everywhere. A lush tropical landscape, with barren piles of rocks, a red muddy river, coconut trees, sugar cane, and water buffaloes are abundant. The deserted 14th century capital of India includes both Muslim and Hindu relics. I loved it!

Ancient Indian architecture is remarkably artistic. When I grew up I did not take time to appreciate that. now every time I visit India, I make sure I spare my time to enjoy these architectures. although your picture is not clear, your POV is good. one of a south Indian temple which was 1200 years old that I visited, I hit the carved beams similar to you have shown in the picture and to my astonishment, each beams although looked similar gave a distinctive sound and I just enjoyed.

Hi Gloria!! I liked the angle & light. Details of the intricate carvings can be seen clearly.
