Photographer's Note
Unique to Vietnam is the Water Puppetry.
When in Hanoi we attended the afternoon show and were not disappointed.
Behind the curtain, nine puppeteers operated the various scenes with expert hands. We are told that it takes three years of training before they can join the show.
There is also a live orchestra playing traditional music to fit with the show.
The light was quite dim so I had to push ISO to 800 and it does affect image quality unfortunately.

Hi Michel,
Yes the noise generated by the high ISO is very apparent in the unlit portion of the foreground, but the rest of the shot appears to be almost noise free.
Personally I don't mind the noise in the shadow area, the main focus of the capture is on the Puppets and that is more than acceptable with regard to image quality.
I just like the whole atmosphere of the shot, the set, the puppets, the orchestra and the audience.
I'll bet it was a lot of fun to see.

Peter
