Photographer's Note

As you can see it's another from the same place, Karavomilos, as my previous post. The nice thing is everywhere you may turn there's something better that the previous one. Here, I really liked the reflections and the colors of the nets and the blue of the boat. I hope you like it, as it is really difficult to carry the thril I felt when I saw it.

hi Argiris,
you don't show the EXIF data, but it feels like a fairly long exposure, I quite like the silky effect on the water that has added a dream-like quality to the whole scene. the few colour accents work well to liven it up, but the overall feeling of soft light and calm moment is very strong. nice, I like it a lot.

Ώρα να τα μαζεύουμε, έτσι;
Νηνεμία σε 0 υψόμετρο, αλλά τα "σύννεφά σου" χτυπάνε καμπανάκι!
Η επεξεργασία είναι ικανή να αλλάξει δραματικά την σκηνή με τους κατάλληλους χειρισμούς κι εσύ είσαι πάντα σε θέση μάχης. Κάποιες φορές παραφέρεσαι, με την καλή έννοια, στο έχω ξαναπεί. Ιδίως με εκείνο το χρώμα της �σκουριάς�. Εδώ, δούλεψε καλά το �γκρίζο�!

Hi Argiris..The light conditions worked wonderfully here. There are eye catching black clouds in the sky making the surface shady and grayish in color, but warm sun light on the boats, and the little old wooden pier and on the shore, making your capture like a painting. The composition is so good that none of the objects cross each other.I love this little fishing village from your previous shots. TFS.Regards.

There is a very beautiful atmosphere in your photo, I believe that you managed to show what you felt. Colors between the blue and the grey are dreamlike but the small spots of colour return us towards the reality. Boats seem only just touching the water.

I think it is not just reflections, it is also the clear view of the bed below the water showing water plants. In fact the brightness level of the water surface makes this view so much more interesting than the yellow or darker color tone that we normally see in Malaysia. The boats and jetty is very well placed in the composition and really the dark clouds help to avoid strong exposure to give a great mood of the scenery.

I like it.

a nicely lit, and bright scene. The turquoise blue in the water mixes well with the rocks and creates a nice range of hues and colours together with the sky. The water glistening over the rocks looks so clean and refreshing I just want to dive in. Nice to have such excellent water quality in a harbor.

What a magical combination of clouds and glass-smooth sea!! I tend to expect wind with clouds. The combination of reflections and transparency is also lovely. The rustic dock and simple fishing boat make a wonderful focal point. I have to make it a favorite even though I try to reserve that for photos that haven't already received such an honor.
