Photographer's Note

Part of the daily life of farmers in west Bengal, process by which the take out the rice grains after cropping the rice from fields. Indeed laborious process I must say for the poors who even can't have an automated system.

Yes my friend poor people are most in the world, not alone in India, also here in my country are a lot poor men, I am also not rich but happy.
Sharpness and clarity are very attractive.

This photo is clear and sharp, which I think is quite impressive considering the photojournalistic style/candidness of the shot.

I especially like the placement of the men along the side of the photo, and the grains spraying across the centre and side of the photo. Truly lovely composition, and great colours!

I hope to see more of your work :)

Good evening Prasenjit,
Went through your gallery, found this interesting picture showing two men hand-processing the rise crop.
Fine clarity as I can see every grain that float on air, and faces expression concetrate on their work.
