Photographer's Note
Shannon, the longest river in Ireland, flows to Shannon Estuary in Limerick. St Mary's Cathedral in the background is the oldest building in Limerick, founded in 1168.

Hello Kari,
I really like how the tower of the church and the white building and its blue roof at left stand out from the dark clouds in the background. The combination with the soft light is very nice as well, just as the reflections.

Hello Kari,
The fine white building and the beautiful old church dominate the view, and I think some of their beauty is enhanced by the very Irish dark sky and the soft light. (But I think I had two rainy days in four weeks on the entire Island.) I am always fond of small details, so I like the reflections of the white wall, the big yellow buoy and the two red lifebuoys on the wall.
Best regards,
Gert

Hello Kari, a well composed scene with the church tower off centre.
The immediate impression is grey, but when seen in the large version we are able to see all the subtle colours of the various buildings.
The red life-belts and the yellow buoy add a nice touch of colour.
Kind regards, Jean.

Hello Kari,
So this photo was taken at the mouth of the Shannon in the sea.
Since I see a swan on the water, this will still be part of the river here. Many seagulls are gathered together.
Nice contrast between the elegant facades of the white building and the dark walls and tower of the cathedral.
Best regards, Paul

Hello Kari,
It is a long time since I visited Limerick but remember the typical Irish beauty of the place. The inhabitants were extremely friendly.
This is a fine view of the buildings situated on the edge of the river. You have shown them with excellent clarity and very well positioned so that there is a natural flow from the f/g to the b/g, where the cathedral sits like a tall, attendant mother!
Have a good day,
Bev :-)

Hi Kari,
Great capture. The dark grey sky helped a lot. I think I had a similar weather in Limerick. In fact I think I had a similar weather for most of the time out of 5 years I spent in Ireland.
Just kidding this type of sky is actually photogenic and you made a great use of it.
Nice perspective across the river. The church stands out very well.
Great reportage,

Hello Kari.
A splendid image with a threatening sky, the cathedral looks magnificent with that original tower that looks more like a castle keep.
Excellent POV, with very good lighting, color and sharpness.
Good work. I like it
Have a nice day.
Very best regards.
Luis.

Hi Kari,
I appreciate the reflections on the water. The point of view is showing the details of the St.Mary's cathedral and of the buildings. The colors and the sharpness are very good. Have a nice day.

Hello Kari,
Despite the typical gray sky, managed a nice photo of the estuary and the Cathedral tower prominently above.
Mostly brown and gray colors, but the rded and yellow buoy stand as eyes catching objects.
Good evening, many thanks for your latest critique,
Ike

kari
a nice view of the tower with a different style. the light was interesting, with a soft touch of sunlight illuminating the fa蓷des while we have a dark stormy BG . a special mood.
