Glenrock Beach, NSW, Australia.

Despite its proximity to the popular surfing beaches of Newcastle, Glenrock Beach is often deserted, as it is situated at the mouth of Flaggy Creek and Glenrock Lagoon, with no buildings (apart from a Scout Hut!) visible anywhere. So it was when my wife and I wandered along it after a barbeque with friends who lived not far away in Merewether Heights. It was still hot, and she had sipped a few glasses. She looked around: nobody. She fancied a skinny dip so, quickly discarding her party gear on the sand, in she went. But those photographs aren't allowed on TE!

LOL! Superb evocative photo, not so good for the orthodox hearted...
Even feels good to think about the dressed version of the lady. Bras, panties and high heels!!!

Really like this shot, evocative, creative and intriguing, could be the opening shot for a new and bizarre version of the Reggie Perrin saga.

I studied he thumbnail a while before clicking to try and figure out what this scene was, and the closest I came was that this was a kite or a giant butterfly, but of course, I'm wrong on both counts there :)

Great scene, the clothes speak for themselves as to what is happening in the scene. Great idea for a shot.

if this is all the "party gear" the lady used to wear, I wonder what kind of party you both had attended before...
Very evocative, you only show us that somebody went in, no matter where she came from.

Hi Will,a very artistic pic,not a new idea but the things leaved on the sand makes the difference,i made 2 pics like this but whit plastic bottle or flowers,great perspective looking for the details in the below part and whit a beautiful blurred sea in background,i like it! All black garments make eye catching almost abstract composition. Quite sharp and good quality scanned photo. A couple of footprints tell the rest of the story!

What an ingenious way to avoid the moderators removing your image! A super vertical composition that without your fun note would leave us wodering what the story was (and of course that would be fun itself).

A typical Australian surf beach scene with good depth with the different layers, of sand, attire, footprints, wet sand, surf and deep blue sea. Good sharpness and the vertical format works well here. Hope there were no blue bottles that day! Tfs!
