La l嶲ende dit que les dieux lach鋨ent un cygne avec un lotus dans le bec. Il devait laisser tomber ce lotus � l'endroit o� Brahma devait proc嶮er � un yagna (rituel hindou). C'est � Pushkar qu'il fit tomber ce lotus. C'est pourquoi Pushkar est l'un des rares lieux en Inde o� est consacr� un temple au dieu Brahm�. Pushkar est situ嶪 sur les rives d𠌊n lac. 52 ghats (escaliers) permettent aux p幨erins de descendre au niveau du lac pour se baigner dans les eaux sacr嶪s.
On y vient aussi plus prosa鮤uement pour faire sa lessive� !!

In Hindu mythology it is said that the gods released a swan with a lotus in its beak and let it fall on earth where Brahma would perform a grand yagna (ritual). The place where the lotus fell was called Pushkar. Pushkar lies on the shore of Pushkar Lake with 52 ghats where pilgrims descend to the lake to bathe in the sacred waters.
People also come to the lake to make their laundry... !!

Hello Patrick...the ghats are a great place to finds subjects,compositions and youve captured on very well..the feel of continuity with the item of clothing leaving the frame is just the perfect lift for the composition..the x factor which decides the success and satisfaction..it all there my friend..

Hello Patrick.
I like the wonderful curve of the sheet as the man 'launches' it towards the lake. It parallels the curve of the shoreline with white houses in the background. Nicely cropped to make this a strong composition with great depth.

Que tu captures bien ces sc鋝es de la vie quotidienne ! Quotidienne , mais si d廧aysante pour nous occidentaux . Ce que j'aime aussi , c'est que ces portraits sont le plus souvent inclus dans leur environnement . Ici , la belle ville en arri鋨e plan .

le mouvement de l'彋offe apporte un certain dynamisme a la photo, doit-on voir dans ce drap blanc l'envol du cygne??

Dynamic shot.Captured at the perfect moment and the BG certainly gives a nice feeling pof Pushkar lake.
Only there are some portions which are burnt out.

joli moment de vie quotidienne que tu as saisi l�. Le linge blanc qui se d廧loie au vent vers la droite rend cette sc鋝e particuli鋨ement vivante.
