Photographer's Note
A small village near Shanishinganapur, Maharashtra.
Shinganapur is a village situated at a distance of 6 kms from Ghodegaon on Aurangabad Ahmedanagar road in Maharashtra. It is 84 Kms from Aurangabad and 35kms from Ahmednagar. There is a motorable tar road leading to the Shri Shaneshwar and is open in all the seasons.
The population of this village is about 3000.
The rural ladies not familiar with the photograph technology deeply impacted while being shot.
All I had to do was to pass a smile and move ahead.

I like the idea of the shot. The woman in the middle has a really great posture. The colours and patterns in her dress really come to life, when contrasted with the brown/grey background.
Best regards

Like Deniz, I also normally don't like the partial desaturation, but the girl really stand out.
The background is just as stunning, and maybe I can ask you to post the full color version as a workpost to your own photo? (just a trick on TE to show people the original)
I also like the note, itš a sharp contrast of the life we live here, and it is a good reminder of the basics of life and why sharing is important :)
Thanks for sharing, I enjoyed it!

Hi Sandeep,
I am not a fan of partial desaturation, but i appreciate here the idea of making the emphasis on the loveliest figure in the photo. Yet, a full color or a full B&W version would be much more appealing imho. The moment and the gaze of the ladies The cinemascope framing makes it look like a movie scene.
Cheers,
Deniz

Yes, partial saturation should be used in moderation, but here I think it works, becayse he woman seems to be detached from the background not because of the PP alone. Her posture and look already seem to have placed her apart. This is a very good shot, Sandeep!

marvelous image, all these personages are very nice put inside the frame. The animals, the typical houses, everything is good to see here. I liked your idea to put only the girl in colors, fantastic work. congratulations

A prized capture. Very well seen and presented.
The sepia BG and the colourful central object works. That made it very interesting.

I love the solid use if textures here an the smart composition and the look. But eprhaps you should have not touched the colours like ou did. Other than that its a lovely classic
