Bonjour Lisa,
ambiance tranquille et sereine, douceur dans les lumi鋨es et les couleurs, beaucoup de profondeur, le genre de sc鋝e qui donne envie de se trouver � cet endroit au moment de la prise de vue.

Such a tragedy. And it seems to be ever increasing with the 2004 tsunami, 2008 Sichuan earthquake, 2010 Chile quake, February '11 Christchurch NZ quake, & March 2011 Japan quake.

In a perfect world there would be no earthquakes or any other natural disasters.

Ici , tu nous offres une vue grandiose avec un ciel fantastique , o� l'嶰lairage des nuages apporte un peu de couleurs dans cette dominante bleu m彋alique .

Waw! What a sky and sight! This time the Vesuvio is quite visible. But how many photos did you take here!!! (:-)
One better than the other!

Even if this is dedicated to a sad event I cannot help but compliment with you for the beauty of this photo.
Actually it has a kind of November mood...
I didn't remember of that particular earthquake... Actually in Italy there are so many earthquakes that it's difficult to keep them all in mind... from the photos in the ws it seemed a serious one...

I know that points are not necessary but I want to give them as well.

Hello Lisa,

What a fine tribute to all those who suffered or lost their lives in that tragic earthquake of 1980. Your workshop pictures really "bring home" the extent of the devastation.

But this is a beautiful and peaceful picture. What wonderful foreground detail and sharpness against a calm sea interrupted only by two small vessels, and all under a most dramatic sky.

P.S. As is usual in the case of a picture and story such as this, I cannot help but try to find out more. And I was so upset to read in this Wikipedia article (under "Rebuilding") that so much immoral embezzling of funds had taken place during the aftermath of this earthquake - was this all actually true that so many made their fortunes at the expense of the suffering of others?

1980 was the year of the earthquake. These days the floods are everywhere in Italy, today it is in Sicily.On top of that they ave big money problems to settle. No wonder that there is a dark cloud in that beautiful picture.

just a wonderful landscape shot from dock complex with a high POV...the sailing white boat at BG add a fine touch...nice cloudy texture sky over the sea...
like the calm situation here...
good DOF controlled with nice light management...nice color contrast & sharpness also...

bellissima e un p� malinconica immagine del tuo amato mare napoletano. Anche se sono passati tanti anni, in tutta Italia � ancora vivo il ricordo di questo brutto terremoto. Mi dispiace per la tua cara nonna, ma sicuramente da lass�, sar� felice per questa tua dedica. Impressionanti le foto che hai messo nel WS, sono scene crude ma purtroppo vere. Sei veramente una brava ragazza, la tua anima � grande come questo stupendo golfo di Napoli. Sono orgoglioso di essere tuo amico. Ciao, buon gioved� e un grande abbraccio!
