Bear Mountain State Park is located on the west side of the Hudson River in Orange and Rockland counties of New York.The Perkins Memorial Drive is a scenic road to the summit of Bear Mountain. At the summit, the 40 feet (12 m) Perkins Memorial Tower provides a view of four states and the skyline of Manhattan, 40 miles (64 km) to the south. The road and tower were built by the Civilian Conservation Corps between 1932 and 1934. It is named after George Wallbridge Perkins, the first president of the Palisades Interstate Parks Commission.

beautiful nature shot.Nice to see that New York area has much more to offer,than just skyscrapers.The picture is excellently composed and the view you provide us here really beautiful.These hills in the distance look so captivating.The image has very good sharpness and superb colors.Great work!

This is a wonderful shot very well composed. The deepness of the view is quite interesting and the framing with the tree is well done. I like the people relaxing around and this gives a very special mood to the image. Good natural colors ans remarqueable sharpness.

What a great descriptrion for the great nature / landscape and combination with people indeed. I like the big portion of the sky in good balance in the horizontal fortmat. So deep and sharp / clear presentation due to F 13 is admirable as usual. Your work is always great by getting good daylight.

Hello Lakshmi,

You're capturing well this landscape by a good composition and excellent tone/clarity, so it's impressive to see the beautiful view with rich greenary from the summit of mountain park. I didn't know that the place of such rich nature was located in the suburbs of NY city. The horizon of the other side of a mountain draws out an additional good atmosphere as well as the clouds in the blue sky.

I like the clearity and depth onto far horizon, but a bit under-exposed, maybe due to clouds aloft.
