It was about 23:00, in north Russia on White Sea on Solovieckije Ostrowa... It was in the port three fishermans drink vodka and than start the motor and go to the darknes...

Fascinating story, looks like vodka fuelled bravado, but these guys need some sustenance to take on such dangerous and lonely work, three againts the elements in that tiny boat. Expertly portrayed.

This is a stunning picture in every way. Colour is superb, comp and fram excellent. I cannot be improved upon, in my opinion.

With the bigger boat in the background it can look like a modern piracy history:) He's been out buring down the treeasure:)

Hi Piotr, Wonderful low light capture. The wave splits the calm water and the man appears to be dancing a jig. A story can be created from this and your few words. Exciting stuff. Murray.

This is such a beautiful exposure for a nighttime shot. The calm water treaded by the boat produces such wonderful leading lines to your main subject. Great details on the silhouette. Great capture! TFS
