Friends please do comment on this photo. Had a tough time peeping through my favourite 55 - 200mm Nikorr Lens among the monsoon clouds. First shot taken at 11:54 pm and the last shot was taken at 12:40 am. second one timing went unnoticed. Hope you all like it.

Hello Biswajit,

You've captured the moon beautifully in the sequence of photos, and framed in tastefully between the two blue lines. It is ironic that being 9 1/2 hours ahead of the US West Coast (where Trekearth is evidently located), you've specified the time of the date of the shot as 16 June, and posted it on 15 June. In the US East Coast where I live, it is now just into 16 June, and in the West Coast it is still 15 June.

If I had had the foresight to get my equipment ready, I would have captured something similar to That's Amore. Also, I will probably post this shot at my National Geographic Blog on the History of the Telescope Series. Thank you for sharing this wonderful triptych of the moon with us.

Applause for the job. Very beautiful and nicely presented. There are only a very few moon shots like this by Indian photographers.
