Photographer's Note

When you find yourself at the entrance to Mdina, you get the feeling like you are about to step in the time portal that will take you hundreds of years back in time.

When getting lost in the narrow streets and side alleys, you can almost feel the old soul of this city walking next to you and telling you stories of times long gone.

But to get in touch with the true spirit of the city and its architecture (all the houses are built from Maltese stone that is light orange colour), you need to find some hidden, empty street and stay there for a while...doing nothing...and your imagination will get wings to fly.
