Photographer's Note

A late afternoon view of an amazing Fatimid ancient harbour in Mahdia and the working boats used by local fishermen which caught my attention. This looks like a big almost squarish basin that connects to the sea by a small channel. Further along the coast, on the left of pic is Fatimid fortifications surrounded by the quaint old town that goes back to the early 10th century where settlers originally landed with a commanding view of the sea.

I was attracted by the colour harmony across the shot and the sitting boats there just waiting to be photographed. So here they are ha..ha.
