Photographer's Note

Not much to say about this, just a couple of traditional fishing boats at rest on Hammamet foreshore that caught my eye which was part of the beach ambience. I like the way these boats - awaiting for next round of tide, all lined up and merged together.

Just could not resist the vibrant colours and the repeat patterns that became so apparent I thought just perfect conditions for a few shots as these boats were so photogenic. I was also blessed with a great light.

Setting: 300 mm, 1/125 sec, F16, ISO Raw 100, 1558 hrs and Polarised

Hello Abmdsudi,

This is a colourful scene, the resting boats reminding me of a shoal of tropical fish. I wonder what the collective name for a collection of boats is; I know when they are sailing, it is called a 'flotilla'.
The boats are composed to make an interesting 'v' shape and stand out sharply against the pale sand.

A good photo of these colourful boats at the beach. Their vivid colours make a very nice contrast with the warm tones of the sand. You chose and excellent wide composition.
