Photographer's Note

Close to Tozeur's golf and called the lovers' park, the Ras al Ain is a tourist spot in Tozeur oasis. A statue of Echebbi, a famous Tunisian poet and another statue depicting an eagle, the country's animal symbol are displayed. Scanned shot.

Desrt oasis in mostly yellow tone, the scenery is from a good POV and show some interesting details. The camels and eagle-statue palm-trees and white portrait sculpture.
Good DOF and clarity, inspite of the normal haze prevailed.

From this angle the eagle looks like a giant moth. The sharpness is adequate but could be increased. The camels in the bg add scale. The splashes of green from the date palms add interest to the desolate desert landscape. Bon weekend!

Very interesting and pitoresc place. I was late to realize the white sculpture of that poet in the BG. The eagle is more easy to pay atention. I like to see these palm trees around.What a hot place too, no. Thank you to share this picture.

i like here the landscape and the golden light...the image lac a bit of sharp and seem little bit out of focus too...tilt a bit also to the left side....i think you can rich better result with a better post production...

Good presentation of the Tunisian landscape. I have never been in this country, but this view reminds me some places in Egypt or even in Jordan. Did you make it through a window of bus? Anyway, good for a scan.
