Another photograph taken on the road from Jam to Chist-e-Sharif showing the exposed red rocks of the barren mountains. A small village nestles against the base of the mountain in a fertile valley. The Hari Rud river flows in the foreground.

Hi Jonathan, A nice shot of the beautiful scenery with nice color contrast and excellent layout. I like the view tracing up with the green line along the river. Nice fresh looking. An excellent shot.

Hi Jonathan. Nice picture which excellent composition and colors. I like the green-blue river coming from the left and zigzaging into the picture. And the contrast between the blue sky and the red mountains is excellent. Maybe there is too much sky.

The mountains seem to have very special shapes here. The small houses in front in the same colour are also very nicely there. Good composition too with the river in front. Good work!

Hi Jonathan. Wonderfully scenic image. it is a beautiful looking river and also interesting to see the colors of the village set against the red hills... easy to not see them! the sky also looks wonderful. nice job.

Another great captured of these marvellous red mountains. The landscape is absolutely gorgeous, with the river downthere snaking through the valley. That village seemed unreal, lost in time and space, as if it were a movie set, or some archiological ruins. Wonderful rock shapes and colours on the mountains. I love it! Congratulations!

Hi Jonathan,
on this pic I like very much the colors contrast and the houses built very close (maybe in it) the mountain.
With the river, we can see some green color in this arid place.
It's a very impressive landscape, well done
