There are colors and flashes of the sun.

It's a veruy nice composition Bertrand!
the monks was ina strange posture, the colors are fantastic, but, in my opinion, i think that the light from the gate was too strong, so strong to "kill" the background and composed a sort of "milk world"!

This is a very nice shot, certainly considering the difficult circumstances that you had with the strong backlight from the open doorway. It amazes me that the monk and his facial expression are so well visible. Regards, Huub

Bonjour Bertrand,
La cellule de l'appareil a 彋� influenc嶪 par l'ombre, ce qui cr嶪 une surexposition, mais je trouve qu'elle est la bienvenue, elle met en valeur votre note d'accompagnement. Cette blancheur pourrait 皻re compar嶪 � une lumi鋨e divine.
Tr鋊 bon cadrage.

Encore une note qui accompagne parfaitement ton image, une interpretation juste et poetique....
Le bonze est superbement place sur ton image, il se trouve juste entre la lumiere et l'ombre...comme si il chercher encore sa voie ver l'illumination...

Very nice Bertrand, i like the overexposed part here, gives a kind of enlightement feeling to the whole image..good reference
to Buddhism.. Also its a nice vertical composition imo..

A good capture. The colour of the dress of the monk stands out very well and he has a nice pose. Unfortunately the light coming from outside is very strong. The background is very overexposed. But good verticality and perspective. Well done!

je trouve aussi l'arri鋨e plan trop surex ici, m瘱e si c'est volontaire.
Par contre la compo est bonne avec ces piliers qui encadrent l'image, le bonze a 嶲alement une position int廨essante.
2 pts quand m瘱e car la note est magnifique de po廥ie.

Bonne composition. 尒ant donn� que l'exposition a 彋� calcul� sur le moine, il est normal que le puit de lumi鋨e soit aussi blanc. Cela prend peut-皻re un peu trop de place sur la photo, mais tu n'avais pas le choix. Une photo bien compos嶪 malgr� tout.

Je remarque que tes derni鋨es photos sont souvent prise � contre-jour et que visiblement tu ne les retouches pas.

Hi Bertrand, I guess that's official seat for monks: at the doorway. A nice capture of the monk against the light. I agree with others about the over exposure of the background. However, the main character is well captured with a nice contrast. I like it.

Hi, I like this picture very much. Its composition is amazing. And the backlight, even if overexposed, it doesn't matter. I guess it's the light or illumination that we all are looking to find in someway and suits perfectly the situation. TFS

Wow, fantastic capture Bertrand! I love the expression on the monk's face, and the strong vertical element. The background is quite overexposed but I know this was a hard one to shoot with the strong light in the background. Lovely!

et bien cela c'est gonfl� ... ce contre jour avec les 3/4 de la photo cram嶪 (et le poucentage au niveau de tes retines ?) et cela marche du tonnerre, on a l'impression d'une fenetre ouverte sur un autre monde! bon cadrage, la gestion des hautes lumieres est pitoyable contrairement � celles des basses lumieres ...
Bien vu (enfin si tu vois encore !)
