Photographer's Note
Whenever I met a local in countryside outside Yangshou they always greeted me with a "hello" they were so warm and friendly. Later I discovered that for many of them that was the only English word they knew. But it was always nice to receive their friendly greetings.
I was siting in the back of one of those bicycle rickshaws, being taken back to my hotel, when we passed this fellow. He helled out to me "hello" and then gave me that big thumbs up sign.
It all happened so quickly, it was point and shot, and then the scene was gone.

Hi Terry, A well timed shot which epitamises the friendliness in China. The locals seem to have a good attitude to travellers from afar and it is a big plus. I like this photo and everything it represents. TFS. Murray.
