Photographer's Note
.
I was lucky to be one among the first foreign travelers to get lost into this corner of the world in 2005 while it still was so virgin and pure.
This photo has been shot during my second visit, at time when it has quickly been commercialized with many services ready at the requests of foreign customers.
I am planning my retirement and a final visit to Yuan Yang is on top of my list of "things-to-do".
For that, I wonder how much Yuan Yang's face has changed, and whether I will have the backpack of photo equipment, or just the walking stick?
Whatever the situation, I will try my best to come back, and will have the stay longer. One thing will be the same: the time of the year, because the terraced fields are only at their best during the middle of February.

What a super mosaic of colours and forms - great. It will be interesting to see a 'return' photo.

I love the blue reflection in the terraces. I have visited the area as well, but the weather was never as good as on this picture. Beautiful, well done.
I share your wish to go back there again.
Regards, Tonny
