Qiang people are mountain dwellers in the northwestern part of Sichuan on the eastern edge of the Tibetan plateau. Both men and women wear gowns made of gunny cloth, cotton and silk with sleeveless wool jackets. Following age-old traditions, their hair and legs are bound.
