Photographer's Note
These were sold in a 'cooked food market' in Hong Kong, Hung Hom area. I thought the display was interesting so I snapped a shot.

I like the repetition and how one element breaks the rhytm – just as in dawekato´s "umbrellas" shot.
Those eggs really look interesting and beautiful. And the yolk really catch the eye...
I would crop a bit from top and bottom.
Still, very well seen and done.

A very interesting composition with that broken egg. I like the texture of these eggs. BTW - eggs of what, I don't know this kind of eggs.
I made a WS, I hope it is helpfull to you.

I like the tight cropping of the pic and the pocition of the broken one is perfected composed at the golden intersection.
good sharpness and colours too. Great job, Eden

Interesting pattern. great that there is one open egg. I think the picture could be cropped just a little bit tighter, on the bottom... Do you know egg of what it is? How big are they?

Great pic, Eden. A bit of cropping on the bottom and perhaps also on the top would leave only the eggs visible in the picture.
I think these are the famous "Thousand-year-old-eggs" from the Chinese cuisine. Raw duck eggs are buried in the ground in a mixture of clay and spices and leave them there for a couple of months. I was told that the eggs become very tasty and creamy by this process.

Very interesting and special shot. If these are the famous "thousand-year-old-eggs" as describec by Michael Gan, I wonder who on earth would think of such a recipe. Well done.

Another good one! - I've been in HK for ages and things like this just seem so boring and ordinary to me! It's good to see them from someone else's point of view!!
The shot itself is really great - the orange makes a nice little distraction... but maybe a little more cropping off the top and the bottom... I think avigur_11's workshop is pretty helpful!
But all in all, very good work!!

Very interesting photo and good composition. Are those the famous old chinese eggs which they put in the earth during months before eating them????
The color of the broken egg gives a realle nice color touch. Thanks
